Protactinium
Protactinium
In HCl, protactinium is absorbed by AmberSep™ 21K XLT Strong Base Anion Exchange Resin and has a low affinity for a strong acid cation resin like AmberSep™ G26 Resin.
Thorium
Thorium is strongly absorbed from HCl by a strong acid cation exchanger like AmberSep™ G26 H Resin and has a low affinity for a strong base anion exchange resin.
Actinium
Actinium is not ionically active and, therefore, it is not amenable to ion exchange separations.
