DuPont™ AmberLite™ FPA53 Resin
AmberLite™ FPA53 Ion Exchange Resin is a gel, weak base anion resin. It is used in the deacidification of food streams including organic acids and dairy products. AmberLite FPA53 resin contains tertiary amine functionality on an acrylic matrix with an absence of strongly basic exchange sites, making it unique in the food processing industry. AmberLite FPA53 can also be used to remove color bodies from antibiotic solutions. Because of its flexible acrylic polymeric matrix, it provides superior physical stability, less fouling and less breakdown yielding in longer life time within this type of application.
