Batteries perform best operationally and from a safety standpoint when their temperature is maintained through materials that enhance heat dissipation and avoid thermal runaway – during both charging and operation.

High thermal conductivity allows for efficient thermal management, helping maintain optimal battery temperatures during both charging and operation, extending vehicle range, and enhancing vehicle safety due to decreased chance of thermal runaway.

Our portfolio includes thermally conductive structural adhesives which durably bond battery components while providing thermal control, crash durability, and production efficiency. In addition to creating a bond that can last for the life of the vehicle — approximately 15 years — these adhesives homogeneously manage the temperature between cells and their cooling units, enabling state-of-the-art cell-to-pack or cell-to-vehicle battery pack designs.
