When used for fan blade root wear strips, Vespel® reduces blade stress and protects them from wear and corrosion. Vespel® wear strips also provide controlled, predictable, and consistent friction for blade seating.
Vespel® abradable seals with zero clearance improve fan and compressor efficiency and cost less than typical honeycomb structures.
