Key Properties

A stiff, nonmelting lubricant that will not carbonize and will remain serviceable at temperatures from -40° to 204°C (-40° to 400°F) and exhibits a very low vapor pressure.
Applications

Automotive spark plug boots, steering and suspension boot seals, etc.

- Lubricant for rubber and plastic O-ring gaskets, seals, and bushings
- Chemical- and/or water-resistant barrier coating
- Sealant and release agent for transformer gaskets and equipment enclosures to help prevent gaskets from sticking to metal and to resist weathering and water washout
- Nonmelting; low volatility
- Moisture-resistant
- Good thermal, oxidation, and chemical stability
No intentional polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
