DuPont™ AmberLite™ CR99 Ca/280 and K/280 Resin
AmberLite™ CR99/280 Ion Exchange Resin is a uniform particle size, gelular strong acid cation specifically designed for use in simulated moving bed chromatographic systems for the recovery and purification of sweeteners. It was designed with a smaller uniform particle size than larger 310 or 320 resins to further minimize water evaporation costs in chromatographic processes while maintaining an acceptable pressure drop for many simulated moving beds systems currently using 310- and 320-micron beads. This added performance is especially valuable in difficult or higher purity sweetener separations. This product is available in the calcium or potassium ionic forms.
