DuPont™ AmberChrom™ XT20 Chromatography Resin
DuPont™ AmberChrom™ XT20 chromatography resin is a macroporous polymeric resin for preparative reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), delivering high yields and purities. This resin is used in bioprocessing applications and is optimized for therapeutic oligonucleotide and peptide purifications. With its high mechanical robustness and chemical resistance, it is an excellent alternative to reverse phase silica. DuPont™ AmberChrom™ XT20 chromatography resin is designed as a viable option for purification processes that need balanced resolution and pressure-flow properties.
DuPont also offers DuPont™ AmberChrom™ XT20 SL chromatography resin, a slurried form of DuPont™ AmberChrom™ XT20 chromatography resin, eliminating the slurry preparation step in downstream processing for customers. With DuPont™ AmberChrom™ XT20 SL chromatography resin, customers do not have to hydrate the resin before use and can immediately begin with column packing.
Uses
- Oligonucleotide purification by reverse phase HPLC with DMT-On (trityl-on) or DMT-OFF (trityl-off) purification strategies
- Capture, separation, and purification of peptides
- Final polishing to remove trace impurities
Advantages
- Suitable for high-resolution, high-pressure liquid chromatography up to 60 bar
- Stable in a wide variety of solvent and mobile phase conditions, allowing for a wide operation window for optimizing capacity and selectivity
- Stable across a very broad pH range (up to pH 14)
- Easily cleaned in place (CIP) with most organic solvents and dilute acids and bases, providing the potential for long resin lifetime
