Liveo™ Pharma TPE Tubing offers an alternative for many biopharma applications, including fluid, media and solvent transport; single-use assemblies; peristaltic pump applications; aseptic connection and disconnection without connectors (e.g., sampling); and applications where compatibility with industry benchmark TPE tubing is needed.
This TPE tubing from DuPont offers improved heat-welding and high tensile strength and burst resistance before and after welding, as well as:
- Low extractables
- Good chemical resistance
- Minimal spallation after 24 hours of pumping
- Good clarity
- A comprehensive data package to accelerate qualification and validation under the form of a qualification guide

Enhanced weldability – Demonstrated superior tensile strength when welded to itself or co-welded with competitive offerings
Excellent mechanical properties – Maintains high burst resistance and tensile strength even after welding
Exceptional purity profile – No detectable bDtBPP in gamma-irradiated tubing, passing USP <85> endotoxin tests with results <0.125 EU/mL
Chemical compatibility – Significantly better resistance to DMSO and other solvents used in biopharmaceutical processing compared to industry benchmarks
Process efficiency – Minimal particle generation during pumping (0.6 mg/ft vs. 13.4 mg/ft industry average), reducing filter clogging risks
Sterilization versatility – Maintains stable properties when exposed to steam (autoclave) up to 140°C for 20 minutes or gamma irradiation up to 50 kGy
