Unique solar and gravity-powered water treatment system enables Maasai community to thrive
A collaborative effort between DuPont, NGO Help for the Maasai, and the local Tanzanian government resulted in the installation of a unique solar and gravity-powered water treatment system in Malambo, providing water that is on-demand, chemical-free, and reliable. This project, utilizing DuPont™ Inge™ ultrafiltration modules, has transformed contaminated river water into safe drinking water for over 7,800 people by leveraging solar-powered pumps and gravity.
